Brief Answer:
Conjugated linoleic acid

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Conjugated linoleic acid or CLA, is used as a diet supplement especially in weight loss. Its role has been deemed useful in a number of other conditions including IBS, skin allergies, SLE, menopausal symptoms etc. Though concrete and substantial evidence is lacking, initial limited studies have shown some benefit.

The dose is 3 to 4 g daily for a period of 6 to 12 months in consultation with your doctor.

Thanks

Thank You! is that 3-4 grams per day?
Also, what source is best? There is a company called BioTrust that has a complete line of supplements that appears best but what would you recommend taking?
Bio Trust has a product that recommends 2 pills at breakfast and 2 pills at lunch

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

Yes, its 3-4 grams per day. The dose can be divided accordingly based on convenience.

Local pharmaceutical preference would dictate the decision of which trade to be chosen. Your pharmacist would be the best judge of that.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

With 750 mg , 2 pills at breakfast and 2 pills at lunch is a good regimen. I would advise to take one pill twice a day for the first 3 days just to get used to it. You can make it two on the 4th day.
