Brief Answer:
further necessary information

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Thanks for contacting the Ayurveda section with your health concern and after reviewing your health query I'm of the following opinion:

1. Is the uveitis limited to uvea only or has approached or affected lens, retina, optic nerve?

2. Is there any history of Autoimmune disease [AI] since it has some affinity with AI disorder (mainly ankylosing spondylitis), or any inflammatory disorder like colitis/crohn's disease?

3. In Ayurveda the disease is mainly due to vitiated Vata and Pitta and is more because of generalized pathology rather than localised one, thus a minimum of 3 week Panchkarma (purification) procedure alongwith medicine from 6 months to 1 year is necessary.

PS. Turmeric is the safest non steroidal, anti inflammatory option for prednisone.
