Brief Answer:
Propranolol a counter drug of atenolol....

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend ..
Welcome to Health Care Magic Forum ..

I would like to say that Propranolol is counter drug for atenolol and has similar properties of that of Atenolol and can help you until you consult your doctor. I suppose this is not over the counter. I think since you have 48 hours to go for the visit you should reduce the water intake and salt for these two days and keep the blood pressure tight.

I hope this information is useful
Thanks & Take Care.
