Brief Answer:
Home cooked easily digestible diet.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

In one line I would recommend you to have a very natural plain simple and home cooked easily digestible diet. Increase warm water (at least 8 glass/day) intake. Do not drink water during and after meals. Take two teaspoons (or one big spoon) isphagula husk. This is a natural bulk laxative and would help to form stools. Eat plentiful "fresh oranges" and "pear. Mix a few drops of "lemon juice" in warm water. Drink on empty stomach, early in the morning, to aid in bowel movement. Take 2-3 spoon edible virgin olive oil in the morning.

PEG is a safe laxative have it 10 ml once daily before going to bed.

You would start having well-formed motions soon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

OK thanks

Well lots of advice there

- I just poured myself a prune juice and hot water? What do you think is that good.

Interesting that you should drink on an empty stomach.

I had one lemon juice and hot water this . Should I have more than one per day?
My stomach is a bit distended and my pubic area seems to be puffed up a bit.
I don't think I have a fever - perhaps this is just from operation.

Last bowel movement I had was Wed Am before surgery - it is now Sat. Night - how long till I should worry?

thanks again - will send my son to look for the husk.

glad to try oranges and pears I thought they might be too filling

again I really appreciate your advice - you cured my abdominal cramps last year

Brief Answer:
Follow up.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Prune juice is always good for constipation.

The first thing in the morning should be 500 ml of XXXXXXX warm water with one lime this would help you to clear your bowel.

Distention is due to severe constipation. If a laxative is not helping get an enema (proteolysis enema) it's over the counter and would provide you with instant relief.

Just get an enema and your problem is gone.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks for the appreciation.

Get well soon.

Thanks Dr XXXXXXX -

One big cup warm water, one with lemon, two with prune juice and I had a bowel movement.

I think your advice to have it on an empty stomach made the difference.

I am about 180 lbs - how much should I eat for breakfast - I was thinking of yogurt and a pear

thanks again

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Always take XXXXXXX warm water with lemon empty stomach for maximum relief.

Banana guava and grapes also are good laxatives. You can try a bowl every day.

To break fat molecules have some oats with honey.

A guava or peat with 5 almonds and 2 walnuts.

This contains all three things good cabs, protein and good fats.

Hope I was helpful.
