Why Do I Have Numbness In The Lower Lip After I Started Plucking Hair Off My Chin?

Question: Q7 Hi, Six months ago I started plucking hair off my chin. A month or so later, the hairs began to tingle. From the chin I had a line up to my lower lip that has gone numb. It has widened to about and inch now. Yesterday I noticed it is affecting my speech. A few months ago I went to the hospital and they checked me up one side and down another. I didn’t have a stroke. I was clear. Please advise me.

Brief Answer:
tests

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As problem occurred after a month of plucking hairs it has no relation to hair plucking.
It is either stroke or nerve degeneration .
Have you undergone MRI brain and MRI face ?
Have you undergone nerve conduction study ?
I hope you are not diabetic or hypertensive .
If all these tests are also negative and then you should take neurotonic as methylcobalamin and pregablin .
As affected nerve will heal slowly .
If you have any further query then you can come back for follow up question .
If you are satisfied then please close the thread .
