Brief Answer:
Need ultrasoundscan

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Prolonged bleeding (Menorrhagia) could be due to various causes like hormonal variations , fibroid uterus, polyp in uterus etc...

2) Please get an ultrasound scan done from your doctor to understand the same and know if there is problem as mentioned regarding menorrhagea.

4) At your age of 44 years, it is difficult to conceive. You need to get evaluated about ovarian reserve by doing AMH blood test and antral follicle count.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

Brief Answer:
Ultrasound scan required

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for additional information.
You need to get an ultrasound scan to know the reason and source of bleeding as I discussed above.
You might require an endometrial biopsy considering your age.

Brief Answer:
Hormonal variations

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Variations in menstrual duration and days occurring once in a while are normal and due to hormonal variations. In your situation it could be due to hormonal variations due to medications consumed, stress, changed living, diet patterns.

This should correct itself in couple of months as reports are normal.
