Brief Answer:
Please mention your age and why these tests were done.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Miss XXXXXXX

Thank you for posting your query on Ask a Doctor service.

Yes, your total leukocyte count is slightly on the higher end and it could mean that you might be having some infection somewhere.

Need to know if you are sufferring from fever, or if you have any boils/abscesses anywhere in the body or any swellings, painful swellings or any other illness currently.

The cholesterols are also high, not by very much, the LDL cholesterol is significant, but there is no need to start any medicine right now for it as regular exercise will reduce the cholesterol levels within 3 to 6 months time.

Lack of physical activity is what is responsible for higher cholesterol levels. So I urge you to start regular exercise in the form or jogging, brisk walking or swimming.

Apart from that, playing an out door game daily will work wonders too.

As for TLC, please get back to me with the details asked.

If you do not have any of these symptoms like fever etc., then you do not have to worry, just repeat the test in about 15 days time and see if they are still higher or have come back to normal.

In case the TLC remains higher, I would recommend you to get a peripheral smear study done and if required a bone marrow study may be indicated.

Right now, it is not alarming, please do write back to me with details so that I can guide you further.,

Best wishes
