Is Sore And Painful Joint At Right Thumb A Symptom Of Arthritis?
Question: Right thumb at joint and V is painful to touch. Cannot bend it w/o a pop. Arthritis or carpal tunnel? Very sore at night. Thanks.

These are not usual symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome that goes with tingling and pain in first 3 fingers and pain during flexion of these. Your symptoms are more likely related to arthritis or tendinitis and at this point you should treat this with nonsteroid painkillers and rest.
