Is Rabies Vaccination Required After Being Scratched By A Dog?
Question: I have a small cuticle skin peel off on fingers. Not deep. I am little skeptical about one stray dog's teeth touched on my fingers. Although there was no scratch or blood. I checked my hand thoroughly and washed it with liquid Dettol later. Even the dog was trying to eat a piece of egg in my hand. Couldn't feel its saliva as well. Not sure if I am fine. It has been 5 days now. Should I take the vaccine now?

I have few things as well:
1) That means it cannot enter through cuticle skin. The cut has to be deep for the virus to enter?
2) Also, I didn't pay much attention to it @ that time. Washed my hands with water properly and ate something.
3) I had been feeling nauseated for 2-3 days, I drank citralka syrup without water. Local doc told me that it got glued to your intestine. That is why m feeling so. This nausea feeling has made me think about the vaccine..

Thanks doc. I was only worried about cuticle skin. Its been a week and kinda that incident is bothering me with my nausea condition.
