Question: Me ad my boyfriend just gote close on mar 21.. we didnt have sex...but his penis was near my vagina for around 2 mins..It might have just touched the vagina also.I am not sure. I had normal period in the later months of april, may, XXXXXXX .They were on perfect time and were normal lasting around till 5 days. But this month (july) my period is delayed by 10 days. Brief Answer:
get urine pregnancy test done

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
No, if you would have been pregnant due to ntercourse in march where again there was no penetration, then menses would not have occurred. So if you have missed your menses this july and if you have been sexually active this cycle , then you should firstly rule out pregnancy with a urine home pregnancy test. If the test if negative then the delay is likely to be stress induced and not due to pregnancy at all. If the menses do not resume in that case even after 15 days post missed menses, then you can opt for a withdrawal bleed with progesterones to resume your menses.

I had not been sexually active this cycle... The last time we met was on march only. And is this true that people get period even when they are pregnant? And for last 12 years I never had irregular period...So can suddenly any imbalance( like due to stress) and all happen?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
If one is pregnant then one doesn't get menses at all unless there is a miscarriage. The single delayed episode can be due to stress induced so it is possible that menses can be delayed.
