Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking I-pill?
Brief Answer:
not true
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to HCM. Thanks for writing in to us with your health query. I have gone through your query and understand your concerns completely . Efficacy of ipill does not get reduced in fertile period, its purpose is to stop the implantation of the embryo. It has high hormone levels which make uterus lining hostile for the incoming embryo. There is no need to take ipill during infertile period as there will be no embryo for implantation. There will be withdrawal bleeding after 3-5 days of intake of ipill. So I will advise you to wait till that time . Regards Dr Manisha Jain
