Bowl movements have been regular, no nausea. Pain currently feels like it starts around kidney area and continues down through groin area

Brief Answer:
Mild soft tissue swelling only.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have seen the attached image. There is a mild swelling in the thigh area. This can be a soft tissue swelling in the area due to the injury. This is not related to a hernia. Rest and a hot compress with a mild pain killer will help in decreasing the symptoms.
I hope this answers your query.

the severe pain is on the opposite side testicle (swelling is on left thigh but pain is in right testicle) pain radiates from right groin down to right testicle.

Brief Answer:
Can be due to an infection.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The pain in the testicle with groin is suggestive of an infection in the area. There can be a lymph node swelling also in the area that can be detected after an examination. Do consult your physician for an examination and prescription of proper antibiotics and see if it helps.
