Is It Safe To Have Laser Hair Removal Treatment For Irritating Facial Hair?

Question: I am experiencing a lot of pain caused by irritation of my lips against my facial hair as it starts to grow out. Often I also get an infection, especially if I use tweezers to pull out a painful emerging hair from my actual lip area and the lips gets irritated further. My doctors have not had much help, the dermatologist suggested laser hair removal, but I got afraid when I saw all the disclaimers. I'd had a bad expience with another method that made for large sores. Now I just look like I have a desease, not pretty.
