Brief Answer:
It is not dangerous to take these drugs together

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for choosing HCM for your health related queries

Diazepam is a benzodiazepine drug and at 5 mg doses it helps to relax individual by reducing the symptoms of anxiety. Citalopram is a SSRI group of drug and the drug help to improve serotonin neurotransmission in brain and helps to reduce the symptoms of anxiety and panic. You have been on Citalopram 10 mg and the drug is working great. You have been advised to take Diazepam to reduce panic during flight on SOS basis.

If we consider both these drugs then it is safe to take both drugs together. There are no significant drug interactions between these drugs and at this doses both are safe to use.

If you have prescription of Diazepam 5 mg then you can take the drug without any fear and this will help you to remain relaxed and away from anxiety while in flight.

If still have any more doubts you can ask again.

Thanks
