Brief Answer:
Investigations/ expert advise & specific treatment will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for the query. I understand your concern.

The sharp & momentary pain in vagina / while urination carried to pelvis can be due to
- Infection of urinary tract, urinary bladder, urethra, vulvovaginitis, pelvic inflamation, many causes like bladder problems ( infection or stones) uretritis ,Pelvic inflammation
- Obstructive diseases of renal tract- bladder / urethal stones can cause it.
- Spinal problems - specially spondilitis of lumbo schral spine/ disc problems may cause it, by creating pressure/kinking of nerves supplying the area.

Diagnosis can be made by -
- detailed clinical/gynecological examination by specialists ( gynecologist/ nephrologist/ orthopedic doctor)
- routine & microscopic examination of urine,/ Blood counts for ruling out/confirming infection.
- swab testing/ culture sensitivity test for vaginal/ pelvic test( deep vaginal test)
- X ray, USG scan for stones, spinal involvement.
Treatment will be based on test results.

In this context, I will recommend you to drink lot of water, maintain genital hygiene, avoid straining while passing urine and perform perineal muscle exercises. Meanwhile plan a visit to your local physician who can perform a general examination and order specific investigation (as discussed above) and direct you accordingly.

Please don't worry. Proper investigations/expert advise & regular treatment would relieve you of the problem.

I hope the answer is informative & proves to be helpful to you. Any follow up query is welcome.

Take care & get well soon !

Thank you
