default
Posted on Wed, 6 Sep 2017
Question: I was diagnosed with beginnings of cellulitis last Thursday night. I have taken anti-biopics, and the condition has improved and is responding. Is it alright to fly tomorrow for work? A one hour flight there and back. Lmk.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
If under control , you can fly.

Detailed Answer:
Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
In case there is beginning of Cellulitis ,no distal swelling and cellulitis is Responding to antibiotics there is no reason you cannot take a short flight. But be careful and if any sign ( like increase in redness , swelling or pain) then go for rest.
All the best for your journey.
