Question: I am looking for general information related to the practice of BDSM, particularly heart related. So I need a Dr. that is "kink" knowledgable and friendly.
1. info on use of "Tens units" ie. electro play
2. Rope play, bruising re. CAD or PAD
3. Blood pressure issues low or high relating to a play session.
I have been told as long as it is controled it is not a problem, do you concur?

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to H.C.M.

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

I am really happy to help you for BDSM.

Electrical play devices, for BDSM purposes, can be grouped into two types:
A) High voltage/high frequency
B) Low voltage/low frequency- TENS type device.

1) Tens unit-
Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) uses
low-voltage electrical current to controlled a severe pain.

Their output is designed to cause of muscle contraction.

TENS is usually use to relieve pain for several different types of illnesses muscle, joint, or bone problems that occur with illnesses such as osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, or for conditions such as backache, neck pain or tendinitis.

Electrical play can
Interference with cardiac activity and
Burns from excessive power levels.

But remember that TENS unit cannot deliver enough power to burn the skin.

2) Role play -
BDSM (Bondage & Discipline/ Dominance & Submission/ Sado-Masochism) is more theatrical then real life.
Sessions are called “scenes” and participants carefully play their role.
In it they also use Buttock Spanking Pad Slapper.

3) In BDSM people face usually high blood pressure due to increase sympathetic tone and release Adrenaline.
