Brief Answer:
This report is suggestive of bronchitis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through the reports you have attached. Your chest x ray is suggestive of bronchitis (inflammation of airways).
And bronchitis is the most common cause of hemoptysis (blood in sputum). A most common cause of bronchitis is a lung infection.
So Augmentin duo is a good drug for lung infection and bronchitis.
Please let me know:
1. How do you feel after taking Augmentin duo? Do you still have symptoms like blood in sputum?
2. Do you smoke?
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care

No, After taking the medicines, blood in sputum has not happened. What should I take as preventive measures/ further checkups for bronchitis?
Also I do not smoke. What can cause the infection however?

Brief Answer:
Get done adult pulmonary vaccination.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It's good that your symptoms are gone. For preventing measures, you should take adult respiratory vaccines like influenza and pneumococcal vaccines.
These will reduce the future chances of lung infection and so bronchitis.
You can also wear a face mask to avoid inhalation of chemicals, dust, fumes etc. All these particles are responsible for bronchitis.
Do warm water gargles and steam inhalation 4-5 times a day to improve respiratory hygiene.
Respiratory infections usually occur through inhalation. So if your inhaled air is clean, there are very fewer chances of lung infections.
For this, you can use an air purifier in the home.
