Is Change In Color Of Cheeks Of A 2 Year Old Post Injury A Cause For Concern?

Question: Hello Doctor,
My 2 year old daughter fell down from a height of around 4 feet. We were at a furniture showroom and she was trying to climb the ladder provided for a kids bed. While climbing up, she slipped and fell down on the floor. By that time her face was turned right side down.
She cried a lot, and the skin around her right cheek turned to be slightly dark in color after few hours. How ever, she calmed down later, and is doing fine as of now. Her cheek also seems to be normal. This happened two days back.
Is there anything to be worried about? Please advise.

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
nothing to worry.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the query.

As you have said, already 2 days have elapsed after the episode, and everything is normal, there is nothing to worry.

If there is any change in behavior of the child, vomiting, blurred vision, then you have to rush to doctor.

Hope i helped you.
