Brief Answer:
No

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

There are only a few case studies which say apple cider vinegar may provide relief from acid reflux. But there are case reports as well that it can injure the lining of esophagus and worsen the symptoms of acid reflux.

So I will not recommend apple cider vinegar.
I would advice you to take Protonix, ginger root for relief along with dietary and lifestyle changes.

Regards,
Dr.R.K

Last question doctor: how many MG of ginger do you suggest daily? Also, do you recommend L-glutamine? Ive heard that it can help.

Answered by Dr. Dr.P.Ratnakar Kini (22 hours later)
Brief Answer:
250 mg thrice a day

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You can take ginger 250 mg thrice a day.
Studies in animal models have shown L -glutamine worsens esophagitis one of the complications of acid reflux. It is better to avoid it.

Dr.R.K.
