Is Seroflo Or Budevort Better For Cough In Children?
Question: hello doctor, my 3 years old daughter is allergic to milk. she is having cough since last month. 1 doctor prescribed her combination of budecort and levolin. her condition improved while using these. after that allergy specialist prescribed seroflo instead of budecort. now 1st doctor says dont use seroflo...use budecort. so i am using budecort. now i feel her condition of cough is not improving further. should i use seroflo instead of budecort ?

yes , she is having problem of diarrhea since her first few months. during her first winters, when she was just 7-8 months, she suffered from severe cold for all winter season. her situation improved with constant use of nebulizer with levolin 0.63mg respules. during next summer she faced diarrhea multiple times. again in next winters same..cough and cold. in this last winter...novenmber 2015 to feb 2016. she suffered from cough and cold. only levolin nebulizer gave her relief. the in May 2016, i.e. last month i got her allergy tests done. then i came to know that she is allergic to milk and artificial food colors. as i consulted 2 doctors, both gave 2 different prescriptions...
1. levolin + budecort, 01 montair tablet in evening for one month, alaspan 5 ml for 6 days
2. levolin + seroflo, 01 montair tablet in evening for one month, alaspan 5 ml for 6 days
now i have followed 1st prescription for 15 days. and my observation is that with initial improvement in situation of cough, now things seem to be steady. do i need to wait for complete cure of cough using levolin+budecort.
or i should replace it with combination of levolin and seroflo.
as she is only 3 years, i am concerned about side effects of seroflo also.
kindly guide.

no..none of the doctor has said, that she is having asthama.
no...she is very fond of running and climbing stairs.. she does not have any difficulty in breathing

i am again telling you, i am very much concerned about side effects of serflo....kindly tell should i use seroflo and how long it should be used, and is it safe for her.
