Brief Answer:
Yes it is completely safe

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXX,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

For a 36 year young male 25 mg of paroxetine is well within safe limit and unlikely to cause any serious side effects. Similarly etizolam is safe either alone or along with paroxetine.

During the first few weeks of treatment sometime it is necessary to give benzodiazepines (etizolam) along with paroxetine. I mean to say that your current prescription is well within standard recommendations and there must not be any safety issue.

I hope this helps you.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

Brief Answer:
You need to take it whole

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.

25 mg of paroxetine is controlled release tablet which need to taken as whole. If you break it will act as immediate release and not as controlled release.

I mean to say that it is safe to take after crushing but the controlled release purpose will be no more if you crush.

I hope this assists you further.
Thanks and regards.
