Brief Answer:
You need monitoring and test...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I do see lots of people with more than normal BP readings in this age group especially in people working in corporate and IT sector. This is more likely the affect of life style practices than an underlying medical cause. In remote cases, high blood pressure at this age may be secondary to an existing heart or renal condition. Unless evaluated, the precise cause cannot be found.

Presence of high blood pressure doesn't indicate high sugar. So unless there is a blood tests evidence of abnormal sugar values, it doesn't mean you will have diabetes.

In my opinion, you should consult a physician nearby who will monitor your blood pressure. He / she can also order blood sugar test - fasting / post prandial bood sugar and Hba1c to identify diabetes if any. Based on his / her evaluation medications can be started.

Hope this helps.

Regards
