Brief Answer:
need to see doctor interested in weight loss

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Unfortunately there are many doctors who do not believe or recognise that it is sometimes difficult to lose weight without the help of medication.

Medication is actually part of the weight loss guidelines when a person is obese and for some over weight patients if they have weight related complications.

Because of the stigma attached to the use of these medications (despite the fact that more and more medications are being approved for weight loss), you may need to either see a doctor who treats weight loss to get your medication (bariatrician) or a GP with an interest in weight loss.

There are different web pages that may be able to help you locate a doctor in your area. Examples are healthgrades.com, webmd physician directory, XXXXXXX medical association doctor finder and zocdoc.com

Your local hospital may also have information.

There are sites that offer to sell the medication but it would be best not to use this option because then no one would be able to monitor for any possible side effects.

Once you attach yourself to a doctor who is truly interested in weight loss, he or she would recognise the importance of medication and would help you.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
