Brief Answer:
My suggestion.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

It is clearly evident that those are the adverse effects of the drug, which depends on the titration and tolerability of the individual to the drug.

As Cymbalta acts on both serotonin and norepinephrine, it would cause increased pulse rate, somnolence, dizziness, etc.

So, I would advise you to discuss with your doctor about the necessity of escalation of dose in your case and the possibility of switching to another drug.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

I have been on this drug using 60mg for 10 or more yrs and have been trying to get off of it. But my Dr. insist I stay on it and just raised it to 90 mg. Etried lyric but it paralyzed my legs, so took me off that. I had a severe back injury in 1988 I have 4 screws in my hips and pelvis. A rod in my back and a dorsal column stimulator implant. I also had a major stroke 10 yrs ago. I have severe pain. So tried of taking all the drugs.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I would advise you to discuss with your doctor regarding the dosage of Cymbalta and the necessity if it's an escalation.

It is advisable to switch off to another antidepressant considering your age and its side effects.

Hope this information would help you.
