Question: I have pain in my belly, right side, ribs to belt line, right side only, tender to touch just under ribs, upper right side, also very bloated, and yellow diareah

current symptoms have been going on for three days, nothing previous. no nausea, no vomiting, no fever, urine color is normal, almost clear, diarrhea, a lot, food just runs thru, yellow, and smelly.. No tests done by Dr. yet, I wonder if its inflamation of the bowels????

* Current explanation rules out possibility of gall stone.
Intestine infection can be a possibility through some sort of bacteria or virus, in
which case blood test helps in diagnosis.
* My recommendations at present

- Drink more liquids as boiled water, lemon water, coconut water, butter milk etc.
- Prefer soft, light diet with home made fresh yogurt for gut flora support.
- Avoid spices, non veg, dairy fat, junk foods.
- Get prescription of GI specific antibiotic and pro biotics from your doctor.

- Do not panic till the results of ultrasound comes, just concentrate on maintaining
your hydration.

Follow up with report or early as per the requirement.
