Brief Answer:
Could be fibromyalgia

Detailed Answer:
Hello, I'm Dr. Branch, thanks for using Ask a Doctor. The symptoms you describe could be consistent with fibromyalgia, but could also be from an autoimmune disease such as lupus or rheumatoid arthritis, as well as other neurological disorders. Hypothyroidism can also cause some of these symptoms.

The investigation for the cause of your symptoms can start with a primary care doctor, and these doctors also often treat fibromyalgia. I would suggest getting basic labs done, as well as checking TSH for thyroid, CRP/ESR for inflammation, ANA for autoimmune diseases, and RF and anti-CCP for rheumatoid arthritis. If anything indicates an autoimmune disease, or your primary care doctor wants to send you to a specialist, a rheumatologist would usually be the doctor who would treat these diseases.

I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any questions about any of that, and I would be glad to discuss it with you further.
Note: For further queries, consult a joint and bone specialist, an Orthopaedic surgeon. Book a Call now.
