Hello

Thanks for the feedback. See the presence of LBBB itself means some cardiac events has happened in the past which has affected the LVEF.

Also you have hypertension which can also lead the hypertension heart disease thereby affecting overall LVEF.

The reason why I want to see your echo report was to find out whether the decrease in EF is global or some particular area of your heart muscle is not functioning well. This is important because it gives an idea that whether things can be restored back to some extent or not.

Considering your age group, achieving the completely full EF is not the goal, the goal is to maintain the present EF.

Just keep your lifestyle healthy and keep regular and timely follow ups with your treating doctor and stick to prescribed medications.

Kind Regards

I haven't had any type of sickness or viral infection lately..I had the MRI because an echocardiagram showed my injection factor was 40..I've had the LBBB for over 30 years.
Really haven't had any symptoms of heart failure..I do get tired more than I used to but thats about it.

Brief Answer:
Hello again

Detailed Answer:
Presence of LBBB along with reduced ejection fraction makes the possibility of having a underlying coronary artery disease highly likely.

It’s advisable that you should personally consult a cardiologist near you and discuss about the possibility of getting a coronary angiography done to know the status of coronary artery circulation.

Brief Answer:
Hello again

Detailed Answer:
Sir, you never mentioned that you have already underwent a stress test and if that came out to be negative then the possibility of underlying coronary artery disease becomes less significant and so is the need of coronary angiogram.

Now the next possibility of decreased ejection fraction as per the reports of your cardiac MRI is an infiltrated disease process like sarcoidosis, amyloidosis. To make the diagnosis cardiac biopsy is the test of choice.

Kind Regards
