I Have Been Extremely Stressed And Depressed. I Am Crying

Question: I have been extremely stressed and depressed. I am crying a lot too, I cant control my emotions under all this pandemic and get very upset with the littlest of things. For the past week I have a tension headache that comes and goes wheneer I get upset. I went to bed last night normal time and woke up from a bad dream, I felt my head pounding and felt like my heart was shaking. I checked my pulse and it was 84. I could not get back to sleep and after a few hours I feel tired, sleepy, a slight headache again and not my self. I am worried I had atrial fibrillation. My pulse is now down to 73 but I am worried I am so stressed I am making myself sick. Could the headache that has been around off and on for a week be permanent damage or the pounding this morning be a sign of something?

Brief Answer:
Due to anxiety

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.

This is the time of crisis. But this too shall pass.

You are having episodes of tension headache but these episodes does not cause permanent brain damage. Don't worry.

The pounding heart and headache is due to anxiety. These symptoms will resolve once the anxiety is under control.

I would suggest you to practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation. This will help you.

Drink adequate amount of fluids and take care of nutrition. Eat fair amount of fruits and green veggies.

Hoping for your speedy recovery.

Regards.
