Brief Answer:
Start tab. Thyronorm. Please see detailed answer.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per your history, it may be mild hypothyroidism as only TSH level is raised and other thyroid hormones are within normal range.

Please let me know does she has any medical history of cardiovascular disease or presently she is taking any other medication?

Otherwise for that, she can take tab. levothyroxine (thyronorm) with starting dose of 25 to 50 microgram daily in the morning on empty stomach detailed medical examination and endocrinologist's opinion. One hour after that, kindly avoid food or any other medication.

Along with that, I would suggest you to do anti TPO antibodies, complete hemogram, lipid profile, renal profile to rule out associated metabolic diseases after consultation.

Kindly repeat TSH test after 6 weeks. She may require dosage titration as per report.

In between kindly watch for symptoms like rapid heart beats, decreased sleep, shakiness which may indicate overtreatment.

Let me know I can assist you further...

Regards,
Dr Shyam Kale
