I Also Lose My Balance And I Have Had 2
different possible causes
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
Balance is generally related to the inner ear, the eyes , the nerves in the feet and certain areas of the brain eg the brain stem or cerebellum.
Migraines can also have an effect on balance in some persons.
If your strokes affected these areas of the brain then this may be the reason for the loss of balance.
Nerves in the feet can give problems in certain conditions some of these are: diabetics, those with conditions affecting the spinal cord, low levels of vitamin b12.
Inner ear conditions such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, meniere's disease, vestibularneuronitis - these can also affect some persons, usually there would be a history of vertigo (feeling as though the room or person is spinning).
It would be best to see a neurologist re an assessment of your loss of balance.
This should involve physical examination and possibly imaging and blood tests (depends on the results of the history and examination)
Treatment would depend on the cause found
