Brief Answer:
Lot of lifestyle changes

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam!

Thank you so much for writing in HealthcareMagic!

I understand your concern.Changing eating pattern, physical activity, and other weight-related behaviors are important things to focus on for weight management.

Just starting off with vigorous exercise would be very difficult for you.Initial physical activity recommendations should be modest, gradually increasing the duration and frequency to 30–45 min of moderate aerobic activity, 3–5 days per week, when possible.

Try consulting a nutritionist and get a proper diet regimen.Avoid eating high fat food like meat, cheese etc.Start your diet with lot of salads including green veggies and fruits.Always have a healthy breakfast, skipping it would not help.

Long-term maintenance of weight loss is more challenging than initial weight reduction .If these things do not work out then you can consult a surgeon and talk about Bariatric surgery.

Hope this helps.Feel free to ask more.

Hello Mam!

Thank you so much for writing back!

Bariatric surgery is a collective name for many types of weight loss surgeries. After proper physical examination, analysis and certain guidelines,a doctor decides which one to pick among all types. Most preferred type is Gastric bypass which is supposed to have lesser chances of complications as compared to others.

Permanent healthy lifestyle modifications should be done after this surgery for best results. Prior to your discharge, you will be given specific dietary and activity instructions, along with information about certain precautions and when to notify your surgeon.

Patients spend an average of two to five days in the hospital following bariatric surgery, or longer if complications develop.Recovery period at home varies from few weeks to months depending upon the care and ambulation.

Hope this helps. If you have no further clarifications, please rate this answer and close this discussion.
Thank you!
