Posted on Wed, 9 Jul 2014
Question: I am 28-year-old good looking male from XXXXXXX I got married 14 months back. My problem is that I have not been able to penetrate my wife till now. I am able to put only the tip inside and nothing more. Wife complains of pain. She is also scared of the penetration. Both of us are working professionals and at the end of day, feel tired and left with no energy most of the days.Every time during weekend also I am unable to penetrate even after doing fore-play and all other things.
Both of us love each other a lot. Both of us are healthy too.
How I can take to overcome it?My life is getting like hell. I have
also consulted gynecologist and she told that everything inside my wife's vagina is fine. Gynecologist inserted her two fingers easily, but my wife doesn't allow me to put even my fingers inside her vagina nor does she do it herself. Does she have previous affair, does she have affair with some one else. Why she fears from sex. My family is asking for good news ...what should I say to my family?
Please suggest some remedies. Please help me. Please write me in detail...

Brief Answer:
It needs progressive desensitization

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for choosing us.
It is one of the commonest problem in married couples and commonest cause is Vaginismus. It is involuntary spasm of perineal muscles when penile insertion is attempted. The management is Progressive Desensitization. It is slowly removing the feal of pain on penetration. Leave fear and do not target penetration first. It generally may take 7-10 days for therapy. we, at Vivan hospital, XXXXXXX , have in patient programme where the result is almost cent percent.
No, I don't think it is necessarily because she has attachment somewhere else.

Thanks doctor, but can I buy vaginal dilators for her? I mean Vaginismus Treatment Kit ?
Can you recommend usage of these dilators? From where can I buy these dilators in Jaipur? My wife is also not willing to visit hospital for this case because we live in joint family and consultation with doctor may raise doubt in mind of family members. Earlier also I visited the gynecologist with her after lots of issues at home.

Our family members are expecting good news and we can not break their sentiments.

So suggest me some home remedy like exercise or Vaginismus Treatment Kit/vaginal dilators or other remedy.

Brief Answer:
It needs progressive invivo densitization

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I am sorry XXXXXXX but vaginal dilatory are not available over the counter. May be on internet but these can't be relied for quality and appropriate size. I think the problem lies in mind due to extreme fear . You said doctor already inserted 2 fingers but that is a different matter than inserting a penis. I call this penis phobia. As per your family conditions, I can guide the two of you on Skype. but cooperation and motivation from your wife is a must.
