Brief Answer:
Dandruff and its management

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Dandruff is a chronic condition and there is no permanent cure for it.

If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to use ciclopirox olamine shampoo twice weekly apply a lotion containing a combination of Clotrimazole and Beclomethasone on the affected areas of the scalp and beard twice daily.

Once improvement is seen we will taper off the lotion and will continue with the shampoo.
Also take oral antifungal like capsule Itraconazole 100mg once daily for 3-4 weeks and gradually taper it off.

These are all prescription drugs and should be taken under the supervision of the doctor.

Dr Asmeet
