Question: 12 years ago i was diagnosed with a peptic ulcer. Since have had heartburn and left rib and chest pain come and go.
When I have strong heartburn my blood pressure can go up to 140/90 or 150/90 and will go back down after bowel movements.
I also feel tired when I get heartburn and sometimes my legs feels shaky. I am not sure if it is physical shakes or mental shakes due to anxiety.

Brief Answer:
Due to release of cortisol hormone.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As per your query answer is when ever a person is in pain or uneasiness a hormone called cortisol is secreted by adrenal glands located on kidney which causes raised blood pressure and gives body power to deal with increased stress through a number of physiological processes but release of cortisol may cause cause severe fatigue (referred to as shakiness by you) by you.
You should add levosulpiride a prokinetic drug to your treatment.
1 gram sucralfate should be taken thrice daily to heal the peptic ulcers.
Keep taking Xanax as and when required.
Avoid food which triggers the problem.
Follow ups are welcome,
Thanks!
