Brief Answer:
should take drug for atleast 2 years.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Good to hear from you again.

Hope you are doing good.

I have gone through our earlier discussion.

As I told you earlier, GAD is a relapsing disorder.
In my opinion, you should continue with paroxetine for at least 2 years.

You take 20mg paroxetine (noted from earlier discussion). If its working for you and you have been doing well, you can consider dose reduction. 12.5mg controlled-release formulation should be your next choice.

Please do practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation.

Kindly discuss this with your doctor.

Feel free to discuss further.

I wish you well.
Thanks.
