How Long Should Olanzapine And Clozapine Be Taken For Psychosis And Schizophrenia?
Question: Age-35 years weight -61 kg height- 5 feet 6" i have taking medicine for nearly 10years,respiridone 2mg & prodep 20 mg various dosage& various medicine.( olazapin, clozapine, orap) but did not response .after that i taking prodep 20 mg & sulpitac 150mg for 2 months .it is ok 90%. please Dr i need to know, how long time take this medicine for 100% cure & use prodep for before meal or after meal?

The agents like olanzapin, clizapine are antipsychotic agents and used for psychosis and schizophrenia. This are chronic disorders.
As you have mentioned that with prodep and silpitac, the is nearly 90% improvement, I would suggest you to continue with this treatment. At least for 6 month the drug should be taken and during this time, if there is improvement in the symptoms, you can consult psychiatrist for either alteration or stoppage of drug. Presently I would not advice you to stop the treatment, add it is helping you out with your symptom.
