What Causes Sleeplessness And Social Anxiety?

Question: Dear doctor - the detail of my medication is below:
Tynept od, quitipin sr 100, sizopin 25 in the night
Sulpitac 50, inderal 20, zapiz 1/4 of 0.25 in the morning
Symptoms:
Anticipatory anxiety, meeting phobia, social shyness

Went to my doctor on Friday he added nexito 5 in the night as anticipatory anxiety had not gone fully and the mood was also not bright
After started nexito:
Have problems with sleep, wake up in the morning with a lot of restlessness and nervousness and feeling shortlessness of breath
What would you advise? Will these symptoms improve with time and how long does nexito take to start working? What does nexito help with? Is taking it in the morning an option? Pls advise.

Nexito or Escitalopram in a lot of individuals cause insomnia so if you are getting disturbed sleep after starting it then you can start taking the drug in morning after breakfast.

Yes the symptoms should improve with time. Nexito will supplement the actions of the Tianpetin and should help in about 2 weeks.

I usually advise my patients to take Nexito in morning hours only, so taking the drug in morning is a good idea.

Dear doctor - am getting a lot of gas in the stomach along with burning sensation. It is worse in the evenings. What according to you is causing this? Would you advise any change in the medication or add something to help me control this? I pass a lot of foul smelling gas.

Hello again

The bloating of stomach and burning could be caused by Escitalopram but you are taking 5 mg dose and such low dose will not cause gastric symptoms.

You can take tablet Ranitidine 150 or Pantoprazole 40 mg empty stomach in morning for few days. This will help you in the gastric symptoms. Can also take syrup digene when burning sensation is present. Tummy massage helps with bloating. Drink cleaner water to reduce any chance of developing infection.

Symotoms were there before nexito also. Taking rekool d in the morning. Do you think taking itopride is an option?

Rekool is Rabeprazole is guess. If you are taking Rabeprazole and even then you have gastric symptoms then yes, Itopride or Cisapride can help. Both increase the motility of GIT and thus help in indigestion, bloating etc symptoms.
