Brief Answer:
clonotril has low addiction potential

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks fro writing to us.

Clonotril (Clonazepam) is a benzodiazpeine group of drug. Benzodiazepines group of drugs (clonazeapm, lorazepam, alprazolam, diazepam or etizolam) are used under medical supervision. Among these alprazolam has the highest initial potential for addiction and abuse. I never recommend alprazolam (xanax).Clonazepam has relatively very low dependence potential.

Clonotril if taken for 3 months it should be stopped gradually otherwise it can cause withdrawal symptoms. 0.5 mg is very low dose and you can take almost for few months to years without getting addicted under medical supervision. So you can use clonotril with your doctor's permission and guidance without any problem until needed.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.

Regards,

Dr.Chintan Solanki.
