How Effective Is Nexplanon Implant In Preventing Pregnancy?

Question: Hi I have nexplanon implant and had unprotected sex 6 days ago so I got the emergency pill as I felt anxious. I have had the implant for a year. I had unprotected sex last night (6 days after taking the emergency pill) and am afraid to use the emergency pill again. Do I need to take the emergency pill again as I read that you need to take the pill if you have the implant?

Nexplanon is a very effective contraceptive ( > 99% ). So there is no need to take any emergency pill. If you still wish to take it, you can take it. It does not cause any harm. It may cause some irregular spotting.
