How Can Red Patches With Ring Shaped Lesions In Groin And Upper Thigh Be Treated?
Question: my son has these things what can i do
Brief Answer:
Topical antifungal
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
He seems to have a fungal infection. I can see red patches with ring shaped lesions in groin and upper thigh.
I suggest him to use an OTC topical antifungal e.g. Clotrimazole 1% cream or miconazole nitrate 2% cream, twice daily for 2-4 weeks.
In addition I suggest him to take an oral antihistamine e.g. Tab cetirizine 10mg once a day for symptomatic relief from itching.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
