Hi, I Got A Pap Smear Today And The Doctor

Question: Hi, I got a pap smear today and the doctor noted some disclosed areas around my cervix. She said they looked like a bruise with a purplish colour. About a month ago I got a bruised cervix from intercourse which was very painful for hours. Could this discolouration still be a cause from that? Or what else could cause that discolouration?

I read your query and here is my advice.
I don't think that the disclosed areas around cervix are not related to the previous cervical trauma.
A month is enough for cervical trauma bruises to regenerate.
You may stay calm and wait for pap smear results in order to clarify the situation

Most often the cancerous cells look whiter.
