Question: Hi Doctor,

This is XXXXXXX I'm pregnant (7Weeks, 2 Days). Here's the report copy of all the blood tests for your review.

Age : 27

Pregnant : 7Weeks, 2 Days (2nd Child)

Thyroid : Hypothyroidism

Current Medication : Thyronorm 112.5mg

Started mcbm69 : 5th Nov 2018

My Doctor (OBGyn) advised to continue the same dose of Thyronorm after seeing the attached report. However; I'd like to be doubly sure and hence, like to seek your advise if the same has to be continued or should there be change in the medication?

I have taken 2 shots of hepatitis B (government campaign recommended 3 doses ) and 3rd is pending to be taken on 18th Nov.

1st Shot : 9th Sep

2nd Shot : 14th Oct

3rd Shot (Pending) : 18th Nov

Should I take that or skip the 3rd shot?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Doctor, I've attached the August and November report.
I was taking Thronorm 100MG before August test and was advised to increase to 112.5MG.

Look forward to your advise.

Brief Answer:
You have to increase the dose.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Sorry for the delay in my response.
As your TSH is still 3.5 in 7 weeks ( 1st trimester),you have to increase the dose.
We will repeat the TSH after one month and regulate the dose accordingly because during pregnancy demand increase and we keep the TSH value between 2.5-3.5.
Hope found useful.
Good luck
