Hi Doctor, My Question Was Regarding The Possible Chances Of

Question: Hi Doctor,

My question was regarding the possible chances of impregnating a transexual male (a woman who transitioned to a male) merely by the possibility of pre-seminal fluid (pre-cum) being present on the fingers of their partner during insertion.

The story:
a FWB (friend with benefits) and I were fooling around. I went to insert my finger into his vagina after having washed my hands in order to pleasure him. We didn't engage in any penetrative sex outside of the use of my finger in his vagina as I was unable to insert my protected (meaning while wearing a condom) penis into his vagina as he is not used to it and it was too tight to do so - so instead we settled on just fingering. So basically: we didn't have any penetrative sex, and I only ended up fingering him for a few minutes.

A few days later, he mentioned to me that he was concerned with the possibility that pre-seminal fluid (pre-cum) could have been on my fingers while I was fingering him as I did briefly "handle myself" (ie, I stroked my penis for a little bit without ejaculating) with the same hand that I then used to finger him with. He had apparently noticed that I had "handled" myself AFTER washing my hands, which I at the time I didn't even think about. Wanting to be cautious, he ended up taking a "plan-b" pill as we thought it would be best to be safe. The only caveat is that he took the pill within approximately 4 days (almost exactly four days, aka 96 hours) of us having fooled around.

My questions are as follows:
1. Is there a large chance of pregnancy in this situation? He has fully transitioned some time ago (about 5 years or so) and he no longer has periods (he's been on testosterone the entire time), so my thought was that there is likely a zero to low chance of pregnancy to begin with as he is likely no longer ovulating (as is my limited understanding of how transitioning works).
2. Is pre-seminal fluid (pre-cum) enough to cause someone to get pregnant in this situation? The internet is vague on this but the gist I got was "yes" but with a "very low chance" at best.
3. Was 4 days too long before taking the "plan-b" pill? The planned parenthood website states a maximum of 4 to 5 days so we thought it was still a good idea to at least try using it.
4. How long should he wait before taking an over the counter pregnancy test? We were thinking 2 to 4 weeks at least for an accurate as possible result - so basically, how soon before the results would be considered the "most accurate" so we can put this all behind us?

Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.
I get the feeling that the chances are so low that we really shouldn't worry, but I am reaching out mostly for his sake and for some peace of mind.

Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.

1. Considering all this, I may say that possibility of pregnancy is negligible and if you ask me there was no need for plan b.
2. Such insemination through fingering with pre-cum is just theoretically possible and sporadically descibed, but if we take into account that there is no ovulation then there no even theoretical risk.
3. It is recommended to take it within 72 hours, but it will have effect even after 5 days in most cases.
4.you should wait for 2 weeks, but as I said, pregnancy would really be a miracle in this situation

WIsh you good day. Regards
