Hi, 7 Days Back I Had A Went To Massage

Question: Hi,
7 days back i had a went to massage parlour. There after insisted upon by masseuse i had opted for body to body massage.
During this massage i was wearing my Massage shorts(Thin disposable underwear) on and was shirtless.
The lady was also wearing a underwear and she was topless. She did a brief upper body to upper body contact while lying on me for 5 minutes and then she gave a handjob. There was no sexual intercourse, no kissing, no fingering , nothing. After i came i washed myself and started worrying. From next day on everyday i consulted a doctor to get the risk explained. Everyone said there's no risk. But when i think about that, i sometimes forget what actually happened and tend to hypothesize. I think if these below situations could have happened.
1. Could my penis have slipped out of the underwear and came in contact with her underwear.
2. Could she have become wet and her vaginal fluid came out and was on top of underwear and my penis had touched it (I'm just overthinking in this case)
3. Did she remove my underwear before body to body contact(which means my penis was openly in contact with her crotch area)
4. If she removed my underwear before the body to body and when she became wet could it have touched my penis.

All the above 4 scenarios are just overthought due to anxiety despite talking to many 3 doctors on practo. I also do not have any HIV symptoms as mentioned in the internet after hours of googling about hiv and trasmissions.

and finally would handjob have caused any risk. I am also scared to get tested for the fear that what if I'm positive and what would i say to my girlfriend. I just feel terrible. Please help

Brief Answer:
Your HIV risk is negligible

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Ask A Doctor through HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
Hand job is the safest sexual activity compared to other sexual activities. HIV cannot be viable outside the body fluids for not more than few seconds. HIV cannot get into the body through intact covering structures of the body (skin and mucus membrane).
If the all your four situations imagined by you would have happened also, the HIV risk is negligible only. Mere contact with the vaginal secretions alone will not cause HIV infection. Minute microscopic abrasions happening during the vaginal and anal intercourse make the individual susceptible for HIV infection. Another thing, I want to remind you that medicine is not mathematics to get a constant answer. No expert can predict exactly that an individual has been infected with HIV without being tested for HIV infection. So instead of asking such questions, you can get tested for HIV infection and rule out the possibility. (https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/estimates/riskbehaviors.html)

Brief Answer:
Wait and have the HIV test 12 weeks after the contact

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
I am sure that the test report will come as non reactive. There are two HIV virus are there. HIV 1&2. HIV 1 is common to the extent of 99% and above. HIV 2 incident is less than 1%. The commonly available test can rule out both HIV 1&2, but more conclusive only 12 weeks after the contact, even though it is reliable from 4-6 weeks onwards. Special PCR tests are available with certain bigger laboratories and a bit costly can rule out HIV 1 infection by 7 days onwards and become conclusive by 3-4 weeks after the contact.

Thanks doctor. I just want to be assured that there's no chance or HIV transmission because of Body to body massage with both me and her wearing an underwear and only handjob. 3 months earlier i had similar contact of handjob and today the test result came non reactive (0.11) for p24 antigen and Hiv 1,2 anntibodies. From the time i have taken test i was at mental anxiety and i was sweating on my scalp and couldnt focus. My palate started becoming dry despite drinking water. So i just want to avoid that situation again. I started looking at google and assumed lot of negative things since morning which was a terrible day for me.

So i just want to understand that body to body massage with both persons wearing underwear is no chance (0 %) of transmission risk, i can live stress free and be more relieved mentally. So if a professsional affirmation that no further testing is required for the incident that happened 9 days back is given by you. i can stay at peace.

Brief Answer:
Your HIV risk is negligible

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
You had similar experience 3 months back and had been tested for HIV and the same was ruled out by the test report. Then why are you worrying? Don't search for information through Google... Most of them are unauthorized and incorrect and will confuse you a lot.
Once again I am telling that medicine is not mathematics to get a constant answer.Through body to body massage with wearing only underwears has negligible risk for HIV. A repeat HIV test 12 weeks after the recent contcat and getting a nonreactive report only can relieve your mental tension and not my words alone.

So doctor my worry is. In order to be stress free and relieved of anxiety is there any way I can get tested for the recent experience so rule out the infection. Today is the 10th day. The longer I wait the more I'm starting to worry or overthink about it

Brief Answer:
Qualitaive RNA PCR for HIV 1 and for HIV 2 can rule out HIV earlier

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Yes, it is Possible.
You can have DNA PCR test for HIV 1 or (Qualitative RNA PCR for HIV 1) and another separate test for HIV 2
(Qualitative RNA PCR for HIV2). Eventhough these tests can show the presence of infection (if any) by this time,it can be more conclusive if you take up these tests 3 weeks after the contact as there may be a delay in recognition of the infection in some individual. These test will be avialble only with selective bigg laboratories and not with all.
