What Causes Pain Below The Rib Cage Near The Pancreas?
Reports shows borderline anemia, but not much to worry
Detailed Answer
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have gone through her reports and they are suggestive of borderline anemia. It might be nutritional due to lack of iron containing foods. The eosinophilic counts slightly elevated it might be due to minor allergies or parasitic infection.
Include more iron rich foods in your diet like green leafy vegetables and dates. And repeat the blood indices after one week, If anemia persist iron supplementation may be required.
As per your description it seems that she is having pain between her left and rib cages. This can not be attributed to this blood reports.According to medical terms it is called epigastric pain.
Most common cause for these kind of pain is gastritis. However we have to rule out other conditions also.
As of now you can try the following,
1. Avoid hot and spicy food stuffs.
2.Antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole can be taken in the morning before having break fast.
3. Try to have meals in time, don’t skip meals.
4. Avoid the unwanted stress and anxiety.
If the symptoms persist despite all these, consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated. She may require an endoscopy in that case.
Wishing you and your family a good health.
Thanks
