Brief Answer:
?Fibroadenoma breast

Detailed Answer:
Hi...
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX

As per your description,it seems to be a fibroadenoma breast.
These are most common, benign and non cancerous breast lumps in young females (below 40 years of age) and are made up of both glandular tissue and connective tissue of breas.
They tend to disappear when the estrogen levels of women decrease after menopause.
They are movable beneath the skin hence also called "Breast mouse".
They do not increase the risk of breast cancer.

You should visit a clinician who would diagnose the lump by physical examination and ultrasound breast.
Sometimes a check mammography is needed.

Except this baseline evaluation you would probably not require any treatment because usually they don't cause any symptoms and pain.
Their removal causes distortion of shape and texture of the breast.
Even if They are removed they can come back.
They just need monitoring.
Any change in them should be detected early (do self examination daily after you take your bath) and be followed by aspiration biopsy and other tests.

Hope that I have answered your query.
Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
?fibroadenoma

Detailed Answer:
Yes Sir.I have gone through your profile.

A clinical diagnosis of fibroadenoma in the male breast is not unexpected as the glandular tissue is absent but connective tissue is always there in normal males.
It has been reported in males too.
Only differential diagnosis is a gynaecomastia which is also a benign condition of breast enlargement due to hormonal changes.
Most gynecomastia don't need any specific treatment and goes away on its own.

At the point of time, you just have to observe the progress of lump and need of any medical intervention is very unlikely.

Happy living.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Lump in breast

Detailed Answer:
As per policy and procedure of work up in such cases......No.

But in order to relieve your anxiety, you can go for it.
There is no harm in going for an ultrasound scan.
Rather, it would restore peace of mind.

Regards

Brief Answer:
BREAST LUMP

Detailed Answer:
Chostochondritis is the inflammation of cartilage where rib joins the sternum(breast bone).
Symptoms are pain(reproducible).Pain increases with breath and cough.Without the tenderness on pressing, a diagnosis of costochondritis is unlikely. There are no sounds as such.
There is no lump in costochondritis.

Tietze syndrome is rare disease which is just like costochondritis but an absolutely different entity..
There is pain chest accompanied by a localized swelling at the painful area (the junction of the ribs and breastbone). This is in contrast to costochondritis.
Neither condition involves pus or abscess formation.
Teitz syndrome is mostly in 2nd and 3rd costochondral junction.

Points against a differential diagnosis of costochondritis are...
1.Lump/swelling is not seen in costochondritis.
2.Breast is quite lateral to costochondral junction.
3.There is no association of your pain with chest movement.
4.There is no tenderness on pressing.
This rules out costochondritis.
