Welcome to Healthcare Magic and thank you for writing to us.

Premenstrual clitoral pain can happen due to overstimulation. This happens due to over firing of nerve endings as the clitoris is just a bundle of nerves. However, there are other reasons that are more responsive to treatment such as:
1. Herpes infection - you need to get seen to exclude an infection, other infections include yeast or a local bacterial skin infection.

2. Exclusion of other dermatological problems that may be relevant.

If this is just the first differential diagnosis, ensure you do not wear tight underwear, or excessive stimulation from rubbing or from seats such as cycling.

I hope that helps.
Best Wishes.
