Brief Answer:
nothing serious probably

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

this is an atypical symptom - this not one of those symptoms that a doctor may recognize as a manifestation of any particular disorder. If you don't have other symptoms/findings like fever, redness and/or swelling on the affected area or any visible sign (like prominent veins, etc) then this is probably nothing serious.

Sometimes the gastro-esophageal reflux (GERD) disease may present with chest discomfort (burning pain or heartburn). Patients usually report regurgitation of sour liquid, particularly during the night, which may also cause cough and other symptoms. In many cases, the patient has had a big meal with high-fat content. Certain types of food or drinks may make symptoms worse like citrus fruits or juice, coffee, chocolate, etc.

Since lowering the temperature of the room helped you the other time, perhaps this is the answer to your question. If you do have the aforementioned symptoms of GERD then you should talk to your primary care physician for further assessment and treatment.

I hope I've answered your question. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Kind Regards,
