Which medicines you are taking for colitis? Is there any blood in stools?
In my opinion you should quit multivitamin and continue with famotidine and zyrtec. Once the colitis get settled you can start multivitamin again.
Try to take supplement on full stomach.
Add fiber to your diet as it help you relieve constipation

I appreciate your follow up
Please continue with the antibiotics ( metro and cipro) for the period as advised . Also stop the multivitamin. Use Zofran only if you feel nausea or vomiting .

Start taking high fiber diet along with natural probiotics(eg. Yogurt ) , you'll feel better.

Stay calm and avoid fast food.

Hope it helps
